Now sharing content is even easier for all V500 and VSX video users.  Through a simple software tool, presenters in a video conference can show content (PowerPoint slides, Excel spreadsheets, CAD drawings, Visio drawings, or any other laptop material) during a video conference so that all participants can see the information.

Before using a computer to show content with People+Content IP, you need to:

• Enable People+Content IP on the VSX system by purchasing and installing a software license for this option.
• Install the People+Content IP software application on the computer(s) that the presenter will use to show content. This software is available for download at www.polycom.com/videosoftware.
• You don't need to change the computer resolution or need special cables or hardware, but your PC should meet the following requirements:
  • Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP Home, or Windows XP Professional
  • Minimum computer must be: 500 MHz Pentium III (or equivalent); 256 MB memory
  • Recommended computer: 1 GHz Pentium III (or equivalent); 500 MB memory
• Connect the computer and the VSX system to the IP network
